Welcome to the Washington Interagency Incident Management Team 2 website. Nathan Rabe with Kennewick Fire Department, serves as the Incident Commander for the Team. Rex Reed, retired from the Department of Natural Resources, serves as the Deputy Incident Commander.
Team members include a variety of federal, state, county, and local agencies that come together to manage all-hazard emergency incidents, but predominantly manage the many wildfires throughout the Pacific Northwest Region. The Incident Command System (ICS) is the management system and command structure used to direct all operations at the incident scene. More than 45 members are part of the Washington Interagency Incident Management Team 2.

- Maintain a professional attitude and performance for the duraton of the assignment by promoting and maintaining good communications, respect for all team members and a safe work environment.
- Provide for firefighter safety by utilizing LCES (Lookouts, Communications, Escape Routes, Safety Zones) checklists, following the 10 Standard Fire Orders, and mitigate any of the Watch Out Situations for all incidents.
